From the recording MOONSTONE
It's been many long years
thinking joys and fears
Are we honest or do we deny
There's a passion unfolding, impossible holding it bottled up inside...
There's so much to lose, how can we choose, uncertainty over familiarity
But happiness lingers, when sliding her fingers, along the neck of her guitar...
We learn to live in a comfort zone
Hiding behind the Moonstone
Stepping out enough just to feel the pain
Hover and long,
walk the tightrope in vain...
But singing is bliss, and poetry's kiss
embraces her falling in love
The feelings collide, with hope inside
threaten to lose all of control...
